Match Summary
Peterborough won at home in league One for the first time since boxing day.

Posh were on 5 game losing streak at home and wanted to end the streak. If it weren't for Ben Alnwick who made seven fine saves in the first half then posh would have faced another loss at home but Michael Bostwick broke the deadlock when he peeled off at the back post to meet with Marcus Maddisons in-swinging corner.

Lee Angol then scored in the 61st minute after being set up from Marcus Maddison, although Joe Cole pulled one back for Coventry after a great counter attack from Jacob Murphy.

Then 4 minutes later Shaquile Coulthrist poor shot was blocked but Harry Beautyman at the right placed slot it home from a poor clearance. Posh were 3-1 up and the game was in Peterborough Hands.

Coventry eighth defeat in 12 games leaves them in the ninth place, three points of the play off places.
This was Peterborough third win in their 15 league and cup games. Peterborough are now 4 points of ninth place Coventry and 8 points off the play off places with 8 games to go.
